There is no one on duty to watch your child before 7:35 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m.
Transportation changes will be accepted in written form. It needs to include the student's name, date, your signature and the change in transportation stated clearly.
CAMPUS VISITORS
Any visitor to our campus must stop by the front office to sign-in and receive a visitor's sticker before they enter the campus. This would include walking your child to their classroom in the mornings. After the campus visit, visitors must return to the office to sign-out. Please understand that we are striving to keep each of our students here at PDLE safe.
Our students and teachers will be actively engaged in our reading curriculum from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 am each day. Please make sure that your child arrives at school on time daily and we ask that you please refrain from calling to speak with their teacher during this time. If you need to make an appointment to speak with your child's teacher you may call the front office at 836-4296 and leave a message. The remainder of the school day will be spent focusing on the areas of Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. So we ask that you please schedule appointments for after school hours when at all possible so that we will have your child with us until 2:35 p.m. each day. Our school day is from 8:00 a.m. until 2:35 p.m. and it is extremely important that
your child does not miss any of this educational time. We appreciate your cooperation in both of these matters. We are striving to make Ponce de Leon Elementary the best school in Florida and will need your help to ensure that it is!
CAR RIDERS
CAR RIDERS: Parents, in order to ensure the safety of your child, we ask that you please come to the flag pole area each afternoon to pick up your child after school. On rainy days your child will be waiting for you in the hallway of the cafeteria. Thank you so much for helping us keep your child safe at school.
PDLE will be collecting the following items for reimbursement from the manufactures during this school year: General Mills's Box Tops for Education, Tyson's Project A+, laser printer cartridges and inkjet printer cartridges. We have discontinued our Campbell Soup Label collection.

We are helping the Ronald McDonald House by collecting pull tabs from soda cans. Collection containers are located in each classroom.
